“Expertly directed by Lisa Hermanson, with musical direction of an occasionally cacophonous pit orchestra by Peyton Womble, the cast of young performers ably step into the well-worn shoes of the iconic characters with an enthusiasm that is infectious.”

“Just a quick note to let you know that I thoroughly enjoyed the production of The Addams Family. All of your performers were excellent, and I enjoyed the staging, singing, choreography, costuming and dancing, so kudos to all of the students and staff for the many hours of work needed to put together this theatrical performance. I also appreciated the live orchestra, which surely enhanced the show.

Again, just wanted to let you know that I appreciated watching everyone’s contributions to The Addams Family! Job well done!”

“Honestly, my expectations were not that high because I figured it was just a college production, and although we’d enjoy it, it wouldn’t quite measure up to the other local productions we had seen.

Boy was I wrong! I am not exaggerating when I say that the Addams Family was the best play we have seen here. From the acting, the singing, the costumes, the music, the set, to everything behind the scenes, we were blown away! I will never underestimate the quality of a college production any longer.

You should be so proud of all of your hard work as the director. It certainly paid off! We now plan on attending every upcoming play that is put on at the NMSU Theater. ”

“This was the best musical we have seen at NMSU in quite some time. Bravo!”
